Love Your Block Neighborhood Cleanup
Join the Preservation Society as we participate in The City of Boston's Love Your Block initiative.
The City of Boston’s Love Your Block initiative is back for 2026! Each spring, Bostonians across neighborhoods come together to demonstrate their community pride, connect with neighbors, enjoy being outside – and see the tangible impact of collective action.
The Charlestown Preservation Society will be hosting a Love Your Block kick-off site at Preservation Park (at the corner of Austin and Main Street). Come by to grab your clean-up supplies, then groups will head out across the neighborhood to make Charlestown sparkle!

- We’ll have trash bags, pickers, and gloves.
- The City of Boston has provided a limited quantity of t-shirts and sizes to promote Love Your Block!
- Please bring water and wear sunscreen!
- Neighbors of all ages are welcome.
