Archival Research Project: Training Project

Learn more about the Charlestown Preservation Society’s efforts in the archival research project.

In this workshop, members of the Charlestown Preservation Society will walk volunteers through how write architectural descriptions to support our ongoing archival project. These descriptions will become a permanent resource for understanding and protecting the character of our historic neighborhood.

If you are detail-oriented volunteers with a basic interest or background in architecture, architectural history, or design – this workshop is for you!

Prior experience is helpful but not required—training and examples will be provided, and you can work at your own pace.
