Pleasant Street
Pleasant Street, one of the earliest streets laid out after the Revolutionary War, was set out circa the late 1790s.
Park Street
Park Street’s extension from the present Warren Street to Common Street was not set out until 1868.
Monument Avenue
Monument Avenue was set out over the last tract of mostly vacant land between Warren, Main, and High Streets circa 1855.
Main Street
Main Street dates back to the 17th century. It was laid out in 1629 and called Country Lane, in 1714 it was Market Street, and Main Street by 1769.
High Street
High Street is a very old street, extending from Winthrop Street at the top of Breed’s Hill, along the west slope of Bunker Hill to Walker Street
