Charlestown residents showed up in full force on Sunday, November 9, for our Community Clean-Up Day — and the results were nothing short of amazing!
Starting at the Training Field, neighbors of all ages gathered to pick up supplies, form teams, and spread out across the neighborhood to tidy up sidewalks, clear weeds, and collect debris from public spaces. The weather may have been crisp, but the energy and enthusiasm were warm and contagious.
Throughout the morning, laughter and conversation filled the streets as volunteers worked side by side to get Charlestown looking its best before winter sets in. From young families to longtime residents, everyone played a part in making our community shine.
A huge thank you to all who showed up and spent their time with us, and an extra special appreciation for Jessica Brown whose spirit of partnership brought CPS together, coordinated the Eden Park team, and powered a major clean-up around the old Charlestown Middle School/Horace Mann School gardens. This coming together of pride and commitment strengthens our community and together we’re keeping Charlestown clean, connected, and ready for the season ahead
We can’t wait to see everyone at the next community event!
