Revolution Ignited

Revolution Ignited is a community-focused, family-friendly evening that brings history to life and lights the way forward in Boston’s tribute to America 250.

The evening includes all kinds of exciting events and activities for you, your friends and your families:

5:30 – 7:30 – Enjoy the spirit of the community at City Square Park with live music, a food truck, and spoken word entertainment. Prima will offer pizza, a gelato stand, and takeout options for pre-order. Other local restaurants will have specialties for the evening as well.

7:30 – 8:30 – Revolutionary Voices features special guests, including Dan Ryan and Sal DiDomenico, as they speak to the theme of an “unfinished revolution”, rallying our community around the enduring power of our founding ideals and the work still to come. The program will be emceed by transformative speaker Jonathan Allen.

• Revolutionary Ideals – Exploring the principles that shaped and continue to challenge our democracy
• We the People – Centering diverse voices and shared civic responsibility
• Expanding the American Story – Uplifting untold histories and evolving identities

8:30-9:00 – Revolutionary Spark – a gathering for the community to remember, reflect and REIGNITE the revolutionary spirit.
