about us
The Charlestown Preservation Society was founded in 1967 to stop the destruction of the town's most historic buildings. These early efforts saved the Warren Tavern and the post-revolutionary war houses of Thomson Triangle, beginning a new era of civic pride and commitment to preserving Charlestown's unique architectural heritage. Today our mission extends beyond preservation to enhancing the lives of all Charlestown residents. Please help support the Charlestown Preservation Society's mission by becoming a member today. Your membership includes free admission to CPS social events, as well as reduced-price tickets to our Historic House Tour. Most important, you're actively contributing to the betterment of our historic neighborhood.
